HILTON x THE ROOTS PICNIC

Hilton wanted to give new meaning and add fresh cultural relevance to their Live Nation partnership through buzz-worthy events. We created a custom experience for Hilton Honors members, Hilton employees, Live Nation, and Live Nation Urban employees & partners leading up to the Roots Picnic Festival on June 2nd- 4th. Our activation was the official kick-off party for the festival, so it was important that we deliver a fun environment to start guest’s weekends off on the right foot.

Being inspired by Questlove's award-winning book ‘Mixtape Potluck’ along with an elevated spin, the "Mixtape Picnic" was created. Hosted at The Logan Hotel in Philadelphia, PA, the event combined food and music in harmony to celebrate the local culture of Philadelphia and the city's impact on the vibrant Roots Picnic festival.

Guests could customize co-branded Hilton & Roots Picnic items at the “merch buffet”, enjoy music-themed food stations and full-service bars, take photos in front of the main photo backdrop, or hit the dance floor while listening to DJ Aktive & Questlove’s sets.
